hi, we are introducing a few methodologies into organizations that are not familiar with them yet. specifically, trying either xp planning game or scrum spring and release planning, first with a couple of teams. would be happy to hear suggestions on how to best get the stakeholders open feedback on the new suggested planning, and how to test ourselves if we are indeed doing the right thing. our initial thinking is about a short survey, with max 10 questions, that people can opt to fill after a period of experimenting.

the most common question i am asked at my courses is - what makes a good scrum master? i always answer this question with a story from my own experience working with scrum masters (good and bad) over the years.
the emphasis in product development should not be simply on correctly following the scrum process, but rather on delivering a finished, working software; this is the true purpose of scrum. scrum provides a framework with established roles, events, and artifacts which all relate to creating a working product. therefore, using scrum effectively will improve the delivery process. however, solely mastering scrum won't guarantee success. the end goal should always be to deliver valuable, functioning software.
i did try to limit my list to under 10 and tried to focus on books that are really about scrum and not agile in general (there are plenty of great books for that as well).
